Zach Wagner is a Research Assistant at Porterfield, Fettig & Sears, LLC (PFS).  Prior to joining PFS, Wagner worked for Congressman John Rutherford (R-FL) for nearly four years, serving in several capacities.  In these roles, Wagner supported the Congressman’s work on the House Appropriations Committee, as well as on issues impacting Northeast Florida.  Zach had a particular focus on policy issues related to housing, economics, telecommunications, small business, and privacy, advancing the Congressman’s priorities in each of these areas.  On the Hill, Wagner gained a thorough understanding of the workings of the Hill and its nuances. Zach has also committed time to grassroots campaigns in Maryland and interned at a successful PR firm in 2015 where he created content for the firm’s clients.

Wagner holds a B.A. in Political Science and Mass Communication from Towson University.  He lives in the Annapolis area of Anne Arundel County, Maryland with his fiancé Emily.
